Bio-Organic Fertilizer Combined with Different Amendments Improves Nutrient Enhancement and Salt Leaching in Saline Soil: A Soil Column Experiment

نویسندگان

چکیده

Salt-affected soils frequently experience leaching and desalination issues, which severely restrict plant growth water uptake. Hence, in this experiment, four treatments including CG (no amendments addition); OF (organic fertilizer OH Hekang amendment OB fulvic acid addition) were designed to examine the effect of organic on soil chemical properties, salt transport, laws coastal saline soil. The results showed that addition significantly reduced pH (8.47–8.52) content (2.06–2.34 g kg?1), while increasing matter content, available phosphorus, potassium. treatment has a higher phosphorus than other treatments. elevated ratio (32.95% 32.12%, respectively) by raising volume rate. Organic promoted Na+ (4.5–32%) SO42? (12–27%) compared CG. treatments, particularly treatment, not only increased nutrients but also ion leaching, improved permeability rates. Our may provide theoretical basis for revealing law

Examination of different leaching methods of solublesalts from saline and sodic soil profiles

Increasing of population in the world caused overusing natural resources and land destruction. Salinization and sodification are two effects of land destruction. Leaching of soil soluble salts is the most appropriate method to emend and reclaim saline and sodic soils. In this study, Examination of different leaching methods of saline from sodic soils has been evaluated in Veis Area in Khoozesta...

Soil Amendments and Fertilizer Source Effects on Creeping Bentgrass Establishment, Soil Microbial Activity, Thatch, and Disease

Natural organic fertilizers require microbial degradation for nitrogen (N) release, but their ability to promote rapid turfgrass establishment has not been well documented in newly constructed sand-based rootzones. This 2-year field study evaluated the influence of two general fertilizer and soil amendment programs for their effect on establishment and quality of three creeping bentgrass (Agros...

Applying Biochar and Mineral Amendments to Remediate the Chemical Properties of a Saline-Sodic Soil

The present study was intended to improve the chemical properties of a saline-sodic soil using the individual application of alfalfa residue and two biochars produced from sugarcane bagasse and walnut shell, at the weighting ratio of 5%; their concomitant application with gypsum, aluminum sulfate and the mixture of these two chemical amendments was considered. The experiment was conducted in th...

Response of Wheat to Soil Amendments with Poor Quality Irrigation Water in Salt Affected Soil

The experiment was conducted on farmer’s field at District Lakki Marwat (NWFP) during Rabi (spring) 2007-08, in order to study the response of wheat to different soil treatments irrigated with poor quality irrigation water. The treatments including control, tillage, gypsum and sulphuric acid were applied before sowing of the wheat crop. The treatments were arranged in a randomized complete bloc...

Nematodes associated with Zea mays and their control through organic soil amendments

On a survey during the period of 2006-2007 a number of tylenchids were found associated with Zea mays in Kashmir valley such as Pratylenchus sativus kaul, 1985, Aphelenchoides srinagrensis Kaul, 1985 and Tylenchorhynchus zeae Sethi and G. Swarp, 1968. These species were found to have morphometric variations probably due to habitat alteration from the originally described ones. As a part of the ...
